Thanks for your tips. I fixed the problem uninstalling OOo2.0.2 and reinstalling it, after I had manually removed the "openoffice.org2" folder, with all its sub-folders and files, from "\documents and settings\<user>\dati applicazioni\". The uninstall procedure did'nt delete it, and a new intallation did'nt completely replace it, nor add unexisting files. The directory has not been reinstalled by the setup process, but it has been recreated after the first program activation and registration process. In the "basic" sub-folder there were and there are 2 files "Script.xlc" and "Dialog.xlc" that reference each one its homonymous "xlb" within the aside "standard" sub-folder. In the "standard" sub-folder now there are 3 files: "Script.xlb" and "Dialog.xlb" (whose absence instigated the I/O error) plus a "Module1.xba". Now all works.
