If you want macintosh penetration then dump x11 - do it "naive mac"
or go away.
Most mac users dislike Microsoft office to change for the sake of it,
but when one has to down load yet another another piece of software
to make something work, then it is just not worth it.
X11 is ok, BUT many mac users are sick of pc's so much that anything
that resembles the nonsense of trying to make something work by
downloading "yet another piece" of software is very, very, very
annoying.
Dump X11 - make it native Mac and you will automatically get Mac users.
