To Mr. Chris Charuhas: I am just a user of OOo, but have downloaded your
new books to cd's for my own use only. But find them to be a great
teaching aid, since there does not seem to be a complete printed book
out, other than yours. Thanks for the effort made. :-)

They're part of the In Pictures series, computer how-to books based on
pictures, not text. Most computer books contain 50-100,000 words, but these
contain only 5K or so. They're great for bringing newbies up to speed.
We're also promoting them in a new way: letting people download them for
free under a Creative Commons license. We figure the best way to promote
them is to let people try them at no cost, so we'll run the "free books"
offer for a month or two.
