My FrameMaker & PageMaker programs are getting a little long in the
tooth & neither work on Linux.
I usally use and recomend Draw for publishin specially when is quick
related things. Draw has layers and also has easy and fast way to do some
of the more basic things for publishing. However OOo had some issues wiht
color and size which are critical for more profesional publishing here is
where Scribus come and the great thing is that Scribus will import your
OpenOffice.org Draw file.
