Not sure about a laptop. But OOo 2.0.2 runs just fine (albeit a little
slow) on 300Mhz desktop w/256Mbyte of ram & Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (this one).
Also runs reasonably fast on an old 800Mhz IBM Thinkpad w/256Mb of ram.
Little slow on the startup, but after that it's fine.
