Thomas, He was not being serious. "LInux distros" are full operating systems, like Windows. There are plenty of free Linux distros (which is short for distributions) online. Some can be run off a CD - but most require you to install them onto your hard drive. You would lose all the data on your computer. None of your current programs would work on it - and you'd have to learn how to use Linux to get it to work. It is not a program that runs on Windows - it's its own operating system.
