OO Team,

I have to say when I had OO running on my Gentoo Linux box, I loved it,
since I had to upgrade to the new 2.0.3, I haven't gotten it to run at
all, because it keeps "erroring" out with Segmentation faults. I do
have a few concerns however and some of these concerns are not just
mine, but of other users of OO as well.

First off, with the huge release of the "Modular X" and how well and
fast it compiled onto the systems, I was wondering why there is no
release or talk of a more "Modular OO" release to the Linux communities?

Second, why does it seem that OO utilized a lot more of my system
resources to compile than just about anything else I have? It seems to
be more of a resource dog.

Third and last, I am constantly receiving "segmentation" faults that say
"It's my Hardware or OS and is not reproducible" and very rarely do I
ever get the Seg. Faults. With the update to the new 2.0.3 OO release,
I was happy to see that you had found rather some large security bug and
fixed them, but if I cannot get the suite to compile, then it is not
doing me any good. While I am not complaining about OO at all (because
I DO like the software), I am trying to get a handle on a few things and
figured by asking the discussion group, maybe I can get some answers to
bring back to the Gentoo community.

Anything you can perhaps share with me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
