FYI (or whatever internet acronym to use):
I just downloaded the plug-in (3rd party plug-in's in MS Office?) for
importing ODF.
It was only an import module, I thought there was a "save as" module for
Word.
So long as MS does only import modules it will be fine. Any errors
obviously will be attributed mostly to Word & MS.
But when MS starts writing ODF and something goes wrong with the file, the
uneducated users would blame the OTHER programs and perhaps even the format
itself for the errors!
I wanted to see about saving my MS Word files as ODF just for the heck of it
while I'm stuck using Word for now.
