by inbox you mean what software? AFAIK there can either be an email client
or an email server, the email server -- well nothing much you can do about
that. The email client, you could very well switch email clients, or turn
off the computer.
The addresses were often collages of existing emailaddresses. I have
different emails and sometimes I would receive withe an adress like this
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (I have [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED],
and [EMAIL PROTECTED])
This was happening in NetBSD, seems it could happen to any OS....
This make me think that there was something else not related with the
client probably email spoofing which could happen from a third party by
just having your email on their db. This won't have anything to do with
the OS, since the attack could be by just catching your email on a
website. The problem here is what you can do abou it?
