Perhaps it's not an image, but an object? It's not text.
The Navigator shows 8 frames, two graphics, one object..
What you are looking for is the embedded Excel chart.
It is present when opening in OOo, but not on the same place as in Word.
And I see more problems.
This document is a 'fine' example of lay out that - thanks to the lack
of information from our friends in Redmond - doesn't show up well.
If you want to use it in OOo, you have to re-think/make the lay-out, so
that it works better in both programms.
