I'm sorry for my misunderstanding.

According to Microsoft Office online help[1], the name of JIS function
depends on language settings and your report must be right. The
different displayed names might be in range of specification of Excel.

Moreover, the online help gives us another information about its
functionality. It says, "The name of the function (and the characters
that it converts) depends upon your language settings." Words in
parentheses might inicate that the meaning also differs depending on
language settings. It might be also in range of specification that the
function doesn't have any functionality on other localized versions.

However, we can do no better than collect the information about how DBCS
equivalent works for accuracy. So, anybody who has other localized
version of Excel, I need your help ongoingly.
