A couple of things to keep in mind, however, are that: 1) this would increase greatly the _size_ of the presentation. All the discussions on a "lighter" OO.o or the possibility to download only some components always end up saying that the current code is so integrated that "smaller" components would be almost as big as the current suite. Consequently, _any_ presentation, even very small and simple ones, would become as big as OO.o itself.... 2) .exe files are automatically discarded or flagged as spam by antivirus sw, if not deleted by many users without even looking at them... Said this, maybe there already is a way to do what Max asked for: a) send a link to the "portable OO.o" (http://portableapps.com/apps/office/openoffice_portable), together with the presentation, b) create a auto-executable archive of _both_ the presentation and portable openoffice, so that the receiver gets only one file, but when he or she clicks on it, portable-ooo is started right _on_ the presentation. Not using Windows, I don't know how to do b) myself (and it doesn't solve the problems above anyway), but I'm interested in knowing how it could be done.
