There are some costumizing features in OOo which allow you to put this on toolbars. I think that location will be the least of your concerns. Do you have a tool that does this at this moment?

All the menus are XML base so you could argually just link to the macro or component from the XML files. However to do this first we need 'something' to link to.

I would like to have a "start reduced" option. Opening the Writer with no
graphical, lay-out features. To save ram, rais speed and filesize but still
with the productive writing features as bookmarks, spelling, S&R etc.

The way OOo is built this is not currently possible, since once the UNO API is loaded it really doesn't matter what shows up. And at the same time you can't break the API so just some components load to system memory.

Also wish for statistics as (now not existing under properties)
scentences
words per scentence

Please forward this to the writer project at http://sw.openoffice.org
