Hi, It would be appreciated if I could receive a candid and open response to the question, "should I consider the HTML editor to be end of life?"
I continue to support and promote OpenOffice.org. I created and maintain the Australian English dictionary for OpenOffice.org. A while ago HTML Editor was dropped from the Windows XP menus as an option to select. HTML Editor is no longer actively promoted as a separate module. It is still an option within OpenOffice.org, but it is now well hidden. Many people suggest NVU as an alternative, which from what I read is a dead project. I have written a course to show people how to build websites using HTML Editor. My own website www.OnlineConnections.com.au was developed using HTML Editor. The website www.Open-BookManagement.com was written by the client who completed my course. HTML Editor is a very easy product to use even with its shortcomings. I would like to continue training people to use HTML Editor, but this would not be fair to them if HTML Editor is end of life. I would really appreciate a direct and candid response. Thanks in advance, Kelvin Eldridge Creator and maintainer of the Australian English dictionary for OpenOffice.org. www.JustLocal.com.au --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
