Hi,
I installed the sdbc (http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql) driver
for connecting to a PostgreSQL database on Debian AMD64. I proceeded as
indicated in that page, using the option to install from Openoffice.org
itself (Tools -> Package Manager). unopkg shows the driver was installed
correctly:
,-----[ /usr/lib/openoffice/program/unopkg list ]
| all deployed user packages:
| Name: postgresql-sdbc-0.7.4.zip
| URL:
vnd.sun.star.expand:$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/uno_packages/Zk2oha_/postgresql-sdbc-0.7.4.zip
| is registered: yes
| Media-Type: application/vnd.sun.star.legacy-package-bundle
| Description: UNO Package Bundle
| bundled Packages: {
| Name: DataAccess.xcu
| URL:
vnd.sun.star.expand:$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/uno_packages/Zk2oha_/postgresql-sdbc-0.7.4.zip/postgresql-sdbc-0.7.4/DataAccess.xcu
| is registered: yes
| Media-Type: application/vnd.sun.star.configuration-data
| Description: Configuration Data
| }
`-----
However, the option to connect to PostgreSQL doesn't appear in the combo
as indicated in the page, after restarting Openoffice. I'd appreciate any
help to identify what the issue is.
Cheers,

Seb
