Dear All, perhaps you saw the great 3D Plugin of Adobe . I want to do this for Open Office documents.
Can you help me? I want to make this projects with you. I am no programmer, i am a CAD user. I use CATIA. Please look to 3ds.com There you get the 3D Viewer. http://www.3ds.com/de/products-solutions/3d-for-all/3d-xml/overview/ perhaps we can build something like this for e.g Openwrite... You can download the XML Files and look at it. If we can make such tool,OO will be leading in this part,because Adobe wants a lot of money for the 3D writer. o.k the 3D writer (adobe) works in other way. my idea is to get from CAD and other software the XML output.
