I am not aware of any active development on this project, there might be
a project like so. But that doesnt mean it will be in production
anytime soon afaik. Sunbird is a 2.5 years and Thunderbird 3.5 years is
much more mature and stable projects.
It ís about extending and integrating Thunderbird and Lightning.
Sun developers are simply involved.
