Andrew,
I don't know if anyone replied to you with this link already:

NeoOffice is a port of OpenOffice to the Mac. It's slow to load but
OK once it's up and running. They've added some of the usual Mac
interface stuff. The port obviates the requirement to run X11. The
software may tide you over until the official Aqua port is available.
Well, it turns out the pre-alpha release of OpenOffice.org for the
Mac using native libraries is now available.
My first observations after a quick look:
* It is pre-alpha and lives up to that - it is VERY unstable (e.g.
hit the spellcheck on a blank document and it crashed)
* It is still matching NeoOffice for speed (very slow!). This is
acceptable currently as optimisation is a later issue after
functionality.
* The interface is fully integrated with the Mac UI and looks quite
nice.
* There was a small issue I believe in trying to resize the document
window. I had to double click to stop the mouse from resizing the
window?

Jonathon

I love your product... I use it on my windows and Linux PC¹s but I
wish
software company¹s would not claim to have a Mac version when it
requires
X11. It is not a true Mac version if it requires X11. I can run
the windows
version faster under Parallels then using X11 Please Please could
you make a
true Mac version
