These tests were done on a Macbook running Parallels, so OS X and Windows XP were used. The copy source was Firefox. By paste to windows I mean pasting to Office 2003 Word in XP. This behavior is consistent in OpenOffice Writer in OS X and Windows XP. Word will paste all the pictures fine and it will not lock up.
