Appupdater is like apt-get or yum, but for Windows. It tracks many open source
(& some proprietary) apps, and lets you know when new versions are out. It
detects what you have installed, and let's you upgrade them, or install new
ones, from a command line or awkward but evolving GUI.

Besides OOo, it tracks Abiword, BitTorrent, Notepad++, Pidgin, VLC, and others,
over 60 apps. It's a pretty cool program and very handy if you have all sorts
of random apps installed and don't have the time to manually update them (it
can run as a service & silently install some stuff).
