Why would they have to justify it?
They only have to justify it w.r.t the price of shipping the source code to
someone who bought the binary (because the LGPL says that the source code
should be gratis, but allows the vendor to charge a handling/mailing fee).
The binary itself can be sold at any price whatsoever.
