Well, in my Ubuntu 7.04 (Swedish) there is a control panel: System - Inställningar - Kontrollpanel (probably System - Settings - Control panel in English version). However file associations are not located there, I think.
Installation program... well, it has to be called something. If you have a rich language you can come up with many interesting name for the same thing. And you can also understand others who does the same. Maybe this does not make sense, and in that case I guess I have to practice my English quite a bit, but on the other hand that's exactly what I am doing right now. Do you think I am ugly too?
