Dear Sirs: I am using OpenOffice.org 2.0 (it came with the book: Sams Teach Yourself OpenOffice.org 2.0). I have been playing around with the Draw program. I have TurboCAD Deluxe v12.0 and have also used AutoCAD 2000 and 2004.
It occurred to me that with a little tweaking and a few add-ons, Draw could one fairly respectable CAD program, especially if you could link it with Math and Calc. Imagine being able to design something and "Check the math" at the same time. I am sure there are more than a few engineers who would be willing sell their children to be able to do all that with one software package. Anyhow that's what I was thinking. Thank you for your time.
