OpenOffice 2.3 comes with a renewed chart module with a lot of
additional features and enhancements:

The equations of regression lines are now displayed in the status bar
and quick help when selected.

openoffice do not have developed any similar application like "project", but
about excel, i use many times regression for some calculation, and this
software has some commands to show the equation of Cubic, Power, Linear
Regressions and more.
I want to know if there are others softwares with this abilities that can
export/import to/from openoffice or microsoft office, or calc will improve
or add this function to avoid paying a lot of money for this little big
application that is a must for my job and a lot of homeworks.
