Can anyone from Sun or OO.org comment on the email message being
discussed here:

There are links from that thread to a screenshot and copy of the message.
From the headers it sure looks like it originated from a Sun host, but
it looks very suspicious on a number of counts.
I don't remember asking for this, and I certainly hope it is not
official policy to start sending things like this unasked for.
If it did originate from within Sun, perhaps some investigation would be
appropriate as to how exactly that happened?
