For discussion/action:
I think OpenOffice Writer needs a much better page numbering function. It
would be much better if there was an easier way to edit the page numbers and
global page numbers in the OpenOffice Writer. Presently, it's hard to set page
numbers up unless you want to go nuts editing page footers, etc. There really
ought to be a better user-friendly option in the OpenOffice Writer to set, edit
and remove page numbers easily for the entire document. Yes, presently you can
edit the footer on a specific page, but it doesn't work for the entire
document. I'm hoping that some gifted programmer out there can fix this
problem, I think it wouldn't be too difficult.
