If yes, yes, these links work with OOo and MS Excel. For macros, you'll have to redo it. Excel and OOo "speak a different language", so OOo won't know, what you want to achieve with your Excel macro. But the macro-code that was inserted by Excel won't be deleted by OOo. Hope, this helps you.
