Possible I suppose but I think not very likely; all ts'ing OK that way.

Already done.

No, that's about 99% sure to result in the same symptoms.  I tried an 
old image but manual reinstalls are seldom if ever necessary, especially 
after only an OOo reinstall has been recommended.  Too manyother things 
are possible - the idea is to know why, so next time it's a manageable 
situation.
