Subject: [discuss] Minor bug in File Saving
Hello!
I use the Italian version of OpenOffice 2.2.1 on Windows Vista Business
32bit.
I have the "show file extension" option enabled on the Control Panel (so I
see every file not as "textfile" but as "textfile.txt").
When I try to save an OpenOffice file in a different format (for example,
I open an .odt document and want to save it as a .doc for Office
97/2000/XP), it keeps the original extension unless I change it manually
(the file will so be saved in doc format but with .odt extension, unless I
disable "automatic extension" or I change it manually).
Of course it's a very small bug, but I wanted to tell you, hoping to be
useful to the community...
Best Regards
Luca from Italy
