Open it in OpenOffice and use "save as.." to save it in the MS
proprietary format.

If you use CTRL and + in Firefox browser it will increase the size of
the fonts.

OpenOffice is a big set of code and it will take a while to download on
slow connections. You can get it on disc from the CD project people for
a small charge to cover their costs. Since you are in South Africa,
consider contacting Canonical and getting Ubuntu Linux which includes
OpenOffice and can be run direct from the CD.
