I've heard about your project for some time.. and was excited when I
discovered your web site and went to check it out.
I have to say.. your web site.. not your product, needs a like of
work... I've been working on computers and software for over 30 years,
still active.. I'm a full unix system admin, build my own web site as a
hobby, work well with Java, have taken classes at SUN.. at least 50 or
so,, IBM, etc., etc. I'm no neebie to anything dealing with computers..
I couldn't make heads or tails of what to just download to get this
product on my machine... But if I spent an hour or so studing it I
could figure it out.. and I'm sure I will at some point in time.I see
how it's similar to Sun's other website in layout.... but my big point
is.. I think that probably about 98 to 99% of th people that come here
interested in this product.. will just freak out and leave, I know
about 6 people that need this product, but I wouldn't dare send them the
link to this page.. I would just get an angry phone call from them. I
tried to narrow down to the exact page I think they needed to get to..
and when I got close.. the links wouldn't work.. so I finally gave
up... I just feel very strongly.. to need to pull some of your
delelopers away from working on your product.. and build a whole new
website... Don't even try to fix this one... unless you want a product
that only us nerds will use.. get away from this whole style.. or you
will forever creep along on the edge of acceptnce,,,
