For something that is updated as often as OpenOffice, it would be nice if
updates were cumulative rather than waste time with complete reinstalls.
People using word processing software are usually under time constraints,
and it is not convenient to wait forever for a new version to install.
Mozilla Firefox updates are quick and simple: they only add to the existing
program, rather than rewriting all of the program files that are already
there, thus the user can get back on their feet in seconds, rather than
sitting at their computer for half an hour being unproductive.
