To download just click on the green "get openoffice.org" button an go from there. For some added/easier instructions, the blue button to the left "new user & general info" provides some good basic information. That said, the website (IMNSHO) does indeed need work, and has shown progress over what it was months ago. Given that OOo is a volunteer based opensource project, and your extensive experience, perhaps you could find the time to volunteer to improve the website. OOo can always use good folks to help out :-) Here is a link to the primary projects: http://projects.openoffice.org/index.html Way down at the bottom is the Website project. Click on that and you will end up on the project web page: http://website.openoffice.org/ On that page you will find all sorts of good information on how you can help contribute to the project. So... this is your opportunity to actually do something to change what you see as wrong, and at the same time help the OOo community & new/prospective users at large. -- You have been cc'd on this post as you have posted to an open OOo mailing list.
