Just behind MS Word and just ahead of MS Excel, I use MS Outlook most of any MS Office app. I do not see an equivalent among your modules. However, I use Outlook only for email connecting to ACT! for addresses and updating notes of "email sent" in customer records. Soley for my interest to become free from the Evil Empire, I would gladly use OpenOfiice if I can figure how to do my email and connect to ACT!. I would gladly give up ACT! for something more feature-full. I may be missing something in my cursory browse through your software. Please enlighten me. Thank you, Bob Foxworth
I've never used ACT, but I have found that Thunderbird with the Lightning add on does everything I used Outlook 97 for. Additionally, I have synchronized Thunderbird's address book with OO.o so that I can easily insert address into documents. Plus, I have placed an icon for Thunderbird's address book on the task bar, and I use it for my system address book. Thunderbird will import data from the Windows, Outlook, and Outlook Express address books. You can download Thunderbird for free from the following website: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/
