Hi to everyone. I dare to ask, if you have viewed the Adobe Illustrator intro/tutorial I have posted in my previous e-mail?
Where should this option go? I advise everyone to look more atentively at the future. I am sure you all want to improve Draw, and I am sure that one of the future steps is to add additional effects. And some of these won't work well on vectors. So you need to rasterise the vector inside the document. That is why Adobe Illustrator has this option, too. And then we will end with an aditional 'rasterise'-Option/Dialog: - in 2 vry different places -- one applies to export -- one applies to the document proper -- will it be possible to set them asinchronously to different values? -- will this make sense? -- and how will users fare then? Instead of looking at a vector aplication from Adobe: - available since the mid '80s - the state of the art in vector graphics again and again, people find it interesting to reinvent the wheel. But the new wheel is an antic wheel, not centered on the future. Well, there is a price for quality, and for Adobe Illustrator it is US$ 600. But it makes the difference. If the options dialog is called manually the dialog should not be called a second time when performing the export. This would be helpful because the user does not know that he will be asked when exporting and does not know what options are supported by the filter chosen. -- Psssst!
