The data importing feature on calc (ms excels data import feature) is very hard to get to:
file > open > select .csv file type (from a very long list of file types) open. This feels like a complicated way to do something simple especially compared to Excel's way of doing it where it's right on the data tab. Data > import external data > import data Basically my concern is that we have to find a .csv file type from the long list of different file types every time I need to import a text file. Also the text file will be imported to a new spreadsheet and has to be moved to the one I'm working on thus adding additional steps to a simple operation that is done fairly often (for data manipulation)
