Yes.  And Kubuntu.  And Fedora.  And many others.  It also runs on many
more architectures than Intel or x86.

We use the LGPLv3 copyright notice for the programs and the PDL
copyright notice for the documentation.  If it's agreeable, then
download and begin.

No.  OpenOffice.org is not freeware.  It never has been nor is likely to
ever be.  We don't have any freeware around.

You get from us open source, or Free Software, which is in stark
contrast to freeware where you get only a binary:

        the program, to use for any purpose

        the source code, to study or modify

        the permission to re-distribute the changes,
         under the same conditions.
