Impress is improved in the next release. It already has some features
Powerpoint doesn't and I guess PPT will always have some features it
doesn't. Personally, I think ppt style presentations are either overdone
with technology for technology's sake or are just as effective with
simple slides that could be done as web pages a la Google Docs.

I think ~ 100m downloads suggests it already has ;-)

Just use Linux, after all a Mac is just an expensive proprietary version
