I wonder if this would be better directed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] That sounds very odd behaviour. First, try 'paste special' and see if explicitly pasting as unformatted text makes a difference. Otherwise, absent other ideas, try moving your private OOo config area to one side and then starting OOo.
