Hi
I was trying to submit a bug to OOo and had to search too much to
find where to report...
i started in the main site, had to choose the contributing, then
the QA, then the QA site, then the report bug, then the issue tracking
(in the middle of a confusing page with several "issue" like words)
lets face it, how a normal user could file a bug when the report
page is so depth in the site?
the Main page needs a link to a report bugs and that page be
a simple how-to list to report a bug:
1- register to file a bug
2- search for duplicated or close issues
3- read the report bug guidelines (a short version of the
http://qa.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html , adapted for but
creation)
4- choose the component to report the bug and file the bug
if in the front page is too much, at least in the contributing
page. Also, in the "get help" page, a small entry named "search and
report bugs" redirecting to the contributing would be helpful also.
either way, its really hard for someone to report bugs right
now and needs to be fixed.
thanks

Naturally the common people don't want war... but after all it is the
leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a
simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or
a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of
the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are
being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and
exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.
