I came across an article that discussed Microsoft SaaS (Software as a Service) and read some comments about the article. At least one person who commented mentioned OpenOffice.org and I thought I would have a look.
The OpenOffice.org website looks professional, however I did find one typographical error on page http://why.openoffice.org/why_sme.html. Under the column heading "The no-hassle answer" is the following sentence that contains the typo, "Behind the scenes, it stores all your valuable data in a format approved by the International Organization for Standarisation - the first software package in the world to meet this exacting standard." Standarisation should, of course, be "Standardization" (I Googled the International Organization for Standardization to ensure I had the correct spelling). Also, when going from the home page (http://www.openoffice.org/) to the page http://why.openoffice.org/ I got the following Windows Explorer error message "Your browser cannot display this site correctly - please ask your vendor for an upgrade". However, when I exit from that error box, I get to the correct page and things look fine. I hope the above helps. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
