Hi,
I really need some help, because I have just installed openoffice 2.4 on
Linux (Fedora Core 5) and now I do not know to start openoffice!
In Fedora Core there is a Action/application button where I clicked before
and under the point "office" I had all the openoffice applications (writer,
Impress etc), but now they are gone! And even when trying to start
openoffice directly I get an error:
openoffice.org2.4
/usr/bin/openoffice.org2.4: line 2: /etc/openoffice.org2.4/program/soffice:
No such file or directory
/usr/bin/openoffice.org2.4: line 2: exec:
/etc/openoffice.org2.4/program/soffice: cannot execute: No such file or
directory
So how can I fix the screwed-up installation??
I think you are missing packages, so install the missing packages. The
following command should give you about 30 records
rpm -qa| grep openoffice
