I downloaded and installed OOo 3.0.0 beta. This came to my mind: for windows, I can only download the beta with JRE. Why would one include a JRE in a beta version? I would assume people downloading a beta version have a JRE installed most likely.
Having to deselect the JRE install during installation is not hard, but the download is bigger and it adds work. Few people will install the beta as their first OOo installation. regards Niek
