I have been asked by a colleague about whether there is an equation editor available in Open Office Writer or in Calc. His equations are scientific/mathematical, and look nothing like the ones I routinely use in figuring interest payments and credits. He says he uses them in Word. I figure anything Bill can do Open Office can do better. But I do not know how.
How can I answer my friend? Carl
