Here's an idea for your user interface: In the same way that "tabbed browsing" lets users organize multiple browsing sessions in a single window, it would be nice to organize multiple open documents in a single window, with a row of tabs displayed beneath the toolbar, for selecting the desired workspace. Far less cumbersome than a 'Window' menu.
