I have tried the Notes features in both Openoffice and Microsoft Office. I
have only one minor complaint about it. It seems that the Notes feature in
MS Office can have an arrow pointing to a highlighted word rather than just
a point. In MS Office, the pointer works like "{word}------------[|note|]",
while in OpenOffice, the pointer works like "word ^\____[|Note|]" The
pointer arrow can only point to a space in between characters, not point to
a selection of characters/words.
Also, the export feature for Notes should have the option of diplaying the
Notes visibly on the PDF, like in MS Office's PDF export results, rather
than just having them in hidden clickable notes.
What is the lowest version of Adobe reader that is compatible with reading
the PDFs exported by Openoffice?
