Hello:

This suggestion came up while I was looking at the forums. I strongly
suggest this, because even though one of OOo's webpages contains links to
other note-taking applications, they do not have enough functionalities
found in office-suites in them. What I mean is that they do not have strong
integration with picture-editing (i.e. one can paste a JPEG into the notes,
but can't edit them without opening a separate MS Paint program),
spreadsheeting, bibliography-handling, etc. All the features for a good
note-taking application, like MS OneNote (maybe?) are already present in
OOo's software components, and could be rearranged to form a note-taking
application. For example. all the editing features of OOo Write and can be
put together, along options to utilize Impress, Calc, Math and Draw
components, and the notes package can be placed into a database-like file
using OOo Base.

Another suggestion I have would be to open files in tabs like in Firefox,
just to reduce the number of windows on the desktop (maybe there's an
extension for that alrady?).

Just a suggestion - maybe include at least LaTeX input support, if not
output support also (OOoLatex has become old). Make it integrateable with a
LaTeX backend like MikTeX.

Thanks for hearing my suggestions, especially the one for an MS OneNote
replacement.
