Hi Richard You should not need any code number to complete the installation of OpenOffice.org on a desk top computer. Where did you get your version from? And who told you that you needed such a code number?
If you download a copy from our website, http://www.openoffice.org/index.html You should have no problem. By the way, there is no telephone support from openoffice.org, but there are many ways to get help online and through mailing lists. See the website above.
