Hi,
did you see http://download.openoffice.org/index.html? There is a link
called "Peer-to-peer downloads" (http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/).
Enjoy,
Olaf

Please check out http://distribution.openoffice.org
They have some different formats like ISO, Torrents etc.

My experience has been just the opposite. I have never been able to
download anything successfully with Bit Torrent, it always stalls
somewhere and will never resume properly, but the resume function in
Firefox download always works perfectly for me. It is the only way I
have been able to do really large downloads like OOo, or Linux
distribution downloads.

Do you have Firefox 3, did you know the D'load manager is much improved?

Came this utterance formulated by Solé Ronco to my mailbox:
hey guys. it takes me ~3hrs to download open office.
as much as i love firefox, i hate it's download manager/system.
here's a thought: why not make the download of open office a torrent?
there are many free/opensource torrent clients, i personally prefer
utorrent but there are many options. then people could download the
latest version of open office at their own discretion - enabling
pausing, restarting, etc of the download.
would love to see this implemented...soon!...as i download open office
regularly for clients and friends.
