Hello,

Thank you for contacting me. I have decided I do not want Open Office on my computer, because I do not have enough space to delegate to this program. I have searched for a way to remove it from my computer, but can not locate any way to remove it. Please remove Open Office from my computer, or tell me how to do it. Thank you very much.

Subject: [discuss] Steps to enable logging in OpenOffice 2.1 and 2.4

Hi All,

We are starting the openoffice 2.1 & 2.4
service which is used in creating docs. we need logging enabled in
openoffice please let me know what is the commandline parameter or
config change required to enable logging in openoffice in windows env.
To start service now we are using below command from command line:
soffice.exe -invisible -"accept=socket,host=0,port=9999;urp"

Is there any parameter of config present to enable logging then please let me know.
Thanks & Regards,
Ramakant

Hi Mary

You remove OpenOffice in the same way you remove any other program from your computer. You have not told us if your computer is Windows, Linux or Apple, I will assume that you have a Windows machine, if I am wrong then please come back to ask for further help.

In Windows Vista the way to remove any program is to go to the Start and then Control Panel. Control panel normally opens up a fresh window and will allow you to run the "Programs and Features" option. The program will display all the programs you have installed, normally in alphabetical order. Select the program you with to remove and then use the Uninstall/Change button at the top of the screen. This will remove the program in question.

The process is very similar in windows XP except you run "Add or Remove Programs".

I hope that helps

Rob
